“SILVER SCREEN SING-ALONG FEATURES
FAMILIAR FACES (and voices)”

***** for immediate release *****

Cast of Silver Screen Sing-Along

Reindeer Theatre Company’s upcoming production of SILVER SCREEN SING-ALONG will welcome an array of familiar local talent to the stage.

The cast of 10 will bring the audience down memory lane, with an entertaining program of classic movie songs from the 20s to the 70s.

“It’s a fun show not only because of the great music that’ll be presented, but because it brought out some new Westbrook/Gorham area talent-some that are active with church choirs and community choruses, and some that are making the stage debut,” said Louis Philippe, the show’s director who will also be singing in the ensemble.

The cast includes Ruth Covell, Russ Glidden, Themia Raymond and Rita Ann Smith, all of Westbrook; Kathy Johnston of Gorham; Janet and Kim Kelley of Portland; and Haley Osgood of South Portland.

Nick Place, a Portland pianist with many local theater credits, will be accompanying.

The show will run one weekend only: Friday, August 18, 7 PM, Saturday, August 19, 7 PM, and Sunday, August 20 at 2 PM, all at the Warren Memorial Library Auditorium, 479 Main St., Westbrook.

All seats are $10. Reservations may be made by calling 857-9002, and of course the audience will be encouraged to sing-along, Philippe noted.
