“REINDEER TO PRESENT ABSURD CHILDREN’S PLAY “

There’ll be a whole lot of absurdity going on at Warren Memorial Library Auditoirum in Reindeer Theatre Company’s upcoming children’s production of  THE MAYOR, MAD DOCTOR ZING, POLLYWOGS And Other Absurd Tales.

The show is actually a collection of eight mini-plays that features 19 area young actors— many familiar faces, many new faces—who portray a total of 45 wild and wacky characters [See Cast List below for actors from your area].

The production is being directed by Louis Philippe with assistance from Ellen and Mark Munson of Westbrook who bring an extensive theater background to the Reindeer stage, but also introduces the creative talent of 14-year-old Andrew Silver of Westbrook as Youth Director.

The show runs for two weekends:  Friday, Saturday and Sunday, March 23, 24 and 25 and then again on March 30, 31 and April 1.  Friday and Saturday shows are at 7 PM, and Sunday Matinees are at 2 PM.

The Auditorium is located on the second floor of the Library, located at 492 Main Street in downtown Westbrook.  Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children under 18, and Seniors.  For reservations and information, call Reindeer at 857-9002.
