There’ll be some great Reindeer recording acts lending their musical talents to the festivities of the 21st annual Moxie Festival this year!
On Friday, July 10th, at 7 PM, ALTERIA, a popular hometown favorite, will kick off an all-ages show at the Festival site-under the big tent on Main Street in Lisbon Falls.
ALTERIA was just signed to Reindeer Records for a full-length CD entitled “A Time Worth Waiting For,” slated for an October release. The band will be going into the recording studio the day after their Moxie Fest appearance.
ALTERIA was named one of the top five finalists in the statewide Rock-Off 19 competition in 2003, representing Lisbon High School. Bandmembers include Brandon Caspar on guitar, Chase Hebert on vocals, Lucas Michaud on bass and Kevin Partridge on drums.
SPECTER, a three-piece band from Greene, will take to the stage at 9 PM. SPECTER represented Leavitt Area High School in the recent Rock-Off 20 event. They are one of a handful of acts that will be featured on an upcoming CD compilation on the Reindeer label, showcasing great young original bands statewide The CD is scheduled for a back-to-school release.
SPECTER bandmembers include Jeff Beam on vocals and guitar, Tom Rodrigue on bass and vocals, and Chris Hill on drums.
A third band, RANDOM LOGIC, will play at 8 PM. They were previously called PLAYING FOR THE WALL which won the Producer’s Award in last year’s Rock-Off competition.
